On 31st August 2002 I went to russia to play at a party for U-BEE-JEEN.

I could write an entire webpage about my first visit to Russia with it's cultured people and will no doubt be adding words and many more pictures to the russian pages,

This was a truly awesome trip..........from my experience of Ekaterinburg, feel safe to banish most of your preconceptions about the Russian people.

A truly underground dance crowd which reminded me of my old days of clubbing when i was 19 years old in the UK because it's so damn fresh.

Cosmpolitan women, Stylish Geezers and all free in their views of music and life.

A totally up for it crowd and not one tablet in sight and not everyone was drinking alcohol either, which may sound a bit tame but believe me....

it's far from it !!!

After the gig went to a wicked club called 'Luk' after till 9.30 am.

a thoroughly refreshing life experience for anybody, it just so happens i got the chance to play records there too

alongside being interviewed by and shown across the whole of the country on Russian MTV !!

anyway, the pictures will explain fully what the actual gig was like until i get the time to write it up properly
